Andrew Harrison

Dr. Andrew Harrison specialises in the study of D.H. Lawrence. He is the founding editor of the Journal of D.H. Lawrence Studies and serves on the Editorial Board of Katherine Mansfield Studies. As Director of the D.H. Lawrence Research Centre within the School of English (part of the Centre for Regional Literature and Culture), Dr. Harrison plays a pivotal role in Lawrence scholarship. He is also a council member of the D.H. Lawrence Society of Great Britain and a member of the D.H. Lawrence Society of North America.

Dr. Harrison has actively collaborated with local, national, and international media to elevate the profile of D.H. Lawrence and highlight the author's connections with the region. He has published numerous articles on D.H. Lawrence. His notable works include the book D.H. Lawrence and Italian Futurism (2003), co-editing (with John Worthen) a casebook of modern critical essays on Sons and Lovers (2005), and authoring the Humanities Insights e-book on Sons and Lovers. He continues to edit the Journal of D.H. Lawrence Studies.
