About the author

Simon Hull a research-active, published Romanticist, with extensive experience of teaching English Literature across a wide range of areas, from the Renaissance to the Modernist era. He is currently Senior Lecturer in English Literature at University of Science Malaysia and was Assistant Professor of English Literature at Alfaisal University. A monograph on periodical writing and metropolitan culture in the 1820s, as embodied in the essays of Charles Lamb, was published by Pickering & Chatto in 2010.
